Teacher Training FundTsegyalgar East wishes to support the training of eligible Vajra Dance, Yantra Yoga, and Santi Maha Sangha teachers from North America and to do so has established a Teacher Training Fund. Funds collected in the restricted Teachers Training Fund will offer financial assistance for current members of Tsegyalgar East or West with limited resources who are accepted into teacher training programs. Candidates accepted for teacher training should apply to the Tsegyalgar East Gakyil several months prior to their scheduled training with written recommendations from their local gakyil and at least one of the approved teachers in Vajra Dance, Yantra or Santi Maha Sangha. Funds are only distributed as available and at the discretion of the Tsegyalgar East Gakyil.

The first candidate for Teacher Training support was Leela Whitcomb-Hewitt who attended her second Vajra Dance training in Merigar during the summer 2011 thanks to the donors of this fund. Leela is scheduled for her first supervision with Prima Mai at Khandroling during the summer of 2012. See here:
