About the course:
Even though the deep meaning of Dzogchen is always the same, since the conditions of teachers and students are infinite, the knowledge can be presented by way of different words and concepts. Students can be young and old, highly educated and simple, they can come from diverse cultures and speak different languages. Communicating the meaning to monks or to scientists, to artists or to prostitutes, to workers or to criminals etc., cannot be the same. This is why Longchenpa advised to study various fields of knowledge without limitations.
In the Indian part of the lineage of Dzogchen teachers, we can find monks and nuns, hermits and crazy yogis, panditas, royal persons, prostitutes. Even though they were communicating the same principle which is beyond words and concepts, they did it in a very diverse way. Nubchen Sangye Yeshe is showing how 12 early teachers of Dzogchen were using 9 different ways to present the teaching. That’s why Chögyal Namkhai Norbu considered this chapter of “The Light of the Eyes of Contemplation” particularly important, so He included it into the program of Santi Maha Sangha.
The course is intended for those who genuinely want to discover the liberating essence of Dzogchen Ati Yoga beyond words and concepts and are not just curious who said what.
The course is in English, no translation.
The course is by donation. You can donate to any entity of the IDC of your choice at any time before, during, or after the course. You will get more information after you register.
Open to those who have received the transmission from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu or Yeshi Namkhai, or have a serious interest in receiving the transmission from Yeshi Namkhai.
