Rushen of the Mind: The Rushen of the Mind relates to the experience of mind, which is emptiness. The essence of Ati Yoga practice consists in abiding definitively in a state of perennial contemplation. At the start in order for the authentic state of contemplation to arise it is indispensable to separate or distinguish mind from the state of pure instant presence, to discover that mind is connected to time and judgement, and that the nature of mind is beyond everything. The separation or Rushen of the mind is an unsurpassed method to achieve this goal.
Michael Katz, a Dzogchen Community Santi Maha Sangha (SMS) meditation teacher, was authorized to teach dream yoga and meditation by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. He has subsequently taught for two decades in more than 30 countries internationally as well as Harvard University, Amherst College, Tibet House and other institutions and organizations.
Class requirements: Members of the International Dzogchen Community (IDC) with transmission from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu or Yeshi Namkhai, or a serious self commitment to receive transmission when possible.
