Rushen of the Voice: The training of the Voice works with sounding "HUM" and with various kinds of visualization of this syllable, repesenting the nature of the mind. These kinds of practices also help to develop one's power of concention by focusing one's prana and consciousness in a single point. The essence of Ati Yoga practice consists in abiding definitively in a state of perennial contemplation. At the start in order for the authentic state of contemplation to arise it is indispensable to separate or distinguish mind from the state of pure instant presence, to discover that mind is connected to time and judgement, and that the nature of mind is beyond everything.
